Brand Bean is a New York City based, pocket-sized branding, design and development agency focused on small businesses, artists and entrepreneurs. Our mission is to build innovative outlets for new ideas, projects, and products to make their mark in the creative world. Nandita Ahmed
Founder / Creative Director
Nandita graduated from Wellesley College in 2004 with a major in Media Arts and Sciences. After working with various TV stations including WGBH in Boston and DoorDarshan in Ahmedabad, she worked for over 5 years as a Producer / Editor at Fly Communications, a boutique-size ad agency based in Manhattan, NY. As a one-person production team at Fly, Nandita handled all of the broadcast accounts, which included such clients as Amazon.com, New York Jets, the French Culinary Institute, the Italian Culinary Academy, Pernod Ricard AcceptResponsibility.ORG and various Condé Nast Publications. In 2010, Nandita founded Brand Bean in order to invest in a more diverse portfolio of creative projects while perfecting her skills in video editing and production, photography, design, and web development.
Nandita was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh and resides in Brooklyn, NY.

Beatrice Johnson
Managing Director
Beatrice Johnson is Managing Director and Associate Curator at the Clocktower Gallery/ARTonAIR.org, a non-profit visual arts space and online radio station in lower Manhattan, NY. She is responsible for the production of visual arts programs, and oversees Operations, Staff & Human Resources, Press, Development, Public Relations, and Special Events. She is a former dancer, and was for 3 years Curatorial and Administrative Assistant in the Director’s Office at P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, a renowned contemporary art center in Queens, NY. There she worked on a variety of exhibitions and international projects, worked closely with the Director of Development and with the Board of Trustees, and served as a liaison between P.S.1 and its affiliate, the Museum of Modern Art. At Brand Bean, Beatrice oversees Operations, Finance, and is editor of the Website.
Beatrice studied Art History and Spanish at Wellesley College, and was born and raised in Paris, France.
